One-on-One Art Lessons

Painting and drawing. All levels welcome. Every artist, every ability.

What a lesson is

• One teacher, one student. Your lesson is built around you.
• Each lesson is 2 hours. More time can be added on request.
• Acrylic painting and drawing. Oil painting on request.
• All levels welcome, from first brushstroke up.
• At your own pace, whatever that pace is.
• Based in Riverton, Utah. Come to us, or we can come to you (up to 30 minutes one way; a travel fee applies).

Painting lessons

Acrylic, start to finish: color, brushwork and composition. Oil on request. Tell us what you want to paint and we build the lesson around it.

Drawing lessons

Line, shading, proportion and perspective, at whatever pace suits you. Tell us what you want to learn to draw.

Every artist is welcome here

Every lesson is one-on-one, so every lesson already fits the person in the chair. That includes artists with special needs: tell us what the student enjoys and what helps them, and we build the lesson around it. We talk those details through with you directly. Change 4 Love’s own artists are adults with special needs, so this is home ground for us.

Why lessons, from a charity?

Change 4 Love is a Utah nonprofit. Our artists hand-paint superheroes for kids in hospitals. There are only so many artists, so we also print that art and give the prints away, and that is how painting for a few kids becomes reaching thousands. Every lesson fee goes to Change 4 Love and helps keep that art going.
